Fyi - ordered a set of LARGE earfoams from FLARE and made up my own Aluminium spigots. OK not everybody has a lathe.

Notable difference in the seal despite minimal size difference. 11€ for 3 pairs of foams - 20minutes on the lathe. If you make you own spigots - make them to fit perfectly in your ear. tbh I am fine with Mediums. But for a tenner - could not resist the R+D.

Are the spigots just grab handles, or do they help deaden the noise as well ? Would you be havin' a picture of your handiwork ? I have lathe access :D

The spigot sizes are here

I just machined up a new one with the 4mm prong and 7mm the rest - also a wee bit longer. No grooves in mine. I don't see the foams slipping off. If I can get the foams off without damage - I'll take a piccie.

The spigot material does seem to make a tiny difference. But I am not going to try and machine Titanium. May have a go at Stainless but then they'll be heavy.
