UGLY muffler
Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder, Art some may say the same about the Brutes ...... sorry not my cuppa tea
I prefer the look of the StainTune Mufflers because I loved the Original Three Muffler look (the Heat Shield is not finished yet a work in progress you might say) the second picture is before the heat shields, Trevs Welding Art especially the way he modified My StainTune Mufflers to take the 1 3/4 tubes from the reverse merge collector with welds that would rate as impeccable were to beautiful it completely hide so I got some Perforated (so you can see thru it) Stainless Steel and have shaped it as best I can, it still has an edge to be added to it
Notice also that no clamps were needed so it has clean look and believe me they are a snug fit with absolutely no leaks

Have to agree with you about the welds Hanso, absolutely amazing quality! Reverse megaphone not my favorite look either.

I must say went up to Canberra for ride yesterday and bumped into some Ulysses mates (while popping in to say hi to Richard who's getting Grayer just kidding Richard with the stress from selling bikes, we joked about how he retired to get away from stress) from home up there so went and had lunch with them then rode home with them a couple of them commented while we were having a coffee down the bottom of the Clyde Mtn how nice the system sounds even better than it did before, it is now a little louder and even more mellow going steady but when I took of down the Clyde Mtn they said it was very race car sounding?? in a good way I knew it was a bit deeper and a little louder

YES to each his own it seems a lot of riders like to customize to suit their taste even if it kills the power output weve had some crazy designs show up on bikes that came in to be modded

My system is very free flowing I will be surprised if there is a dramatic difference between mine and a CES single muffler system on a dyno I know the improvement is very noticeable now, will let you know when I can get to a dyno to get it fine tuned
