Hey DFW Captains

Those of you have not done it and need a nice 8 hour ride consider what I call the Queen Wilhelmina loop. I’ve done several variations of this ride. Saturday I shot up 75 to Stringtown over to Talihina up hwy1 and made my way back through Idabel. Roads are in great condition. About 500 miles.

Nice ride, next time you do it holler at me, will meet somewhere in the middle:)

@Big Gun when I read North Texas I thought you meant the Top O' Texas, my goof. Growing up in Pampa, I would ride all the FM roads paved or not and remember hours upon hours of bliss mixed with heightened pucker factor. With just a little work, one can find twisties in the land of square networks. Lots of canyons to explore. I think my go-to bike for most of my teen years was a CX500. I considered putting knobbies on it since I rode dirt roads so much but those who know better convinced me not to.

Hi mexican, I would like to.

I'm not much of planner, this ride I decided to take Friday afternoon. I'll shoot you a PM next time. I
usually like to do this 2-3 times a year. Really like the east OK- west AK area.

Hi Boog
That's far north Texas, ha.

Not far from Palo Duro Canyon, did you spend much time there going up. One of our favorite places to hike.

Yep, I have seen the musical "Texas" a few times and did several Boy Scout camp outs there. You can find both kinds of rattle snake there; live and dead.
