Heya Nat67, Thanks. I think they are the DP outlaws. Cool. Yeah.. I think the dealer will be doing that when they install the pipes
I have the RamAir on mine , no adjustments to the bear claw needed and very happy with it ! If you going that route get the filter and pipes together before tune . Also your dealer will prob upload a standard tors tune which ain't ideal .best bet is to get it dynod or appeal to the legend on this site known as Hanso . ;)

Awesome! Cool to know. I'll ask the dealer if they will be dyno-ing? I'll have to look up Hanso.:D

Hey All,

Thanks for adding me. I just put a down payment on a 2016 Rocket iii roadster Matte black :). I've been riding a Harley Vrod and decided it was time to try something new. When I test road the Rocket, I knew it was the bike for me! I'm excited to get the bike. Should have it by first week of September. I'm looking forward to learning and gaining insight of all things triumph from all you guys, newbies and veterans. Coming from harley with lots of choices on customization, it's been tough finding custom stuff for the rocket. Anyway still scouring the forum and hope all you have advice/ insight for me.

Thanks again in advance for all the answers/ help so far. :D

Regards,
Babanewbie

welcome from Tennessee!!; you have been moved from total darkness to light...congrats. I have 2014 R3R haven't done any performance mods so can't help you there.

I'm glad you decided to ditch the Harley. I've had Hondas, Kawasakis, but never a Harley. They just don't do anything for me even the Vrod. In which I think the Vrod is the "fastest" of the Harleys without modifications.
Even though you can't find aftermarket parts for the Roadster as readily as the Harley you will be happy with the Roadster. Fair warning..... you WILL find performance parts for the Roadster ..... so go shred your credit cards now.:D

Carpenter Racing can really make the Roadster fly!

Carpenter Racing

I would have already went that route but can't I afford the tickets and I might not be still be here to type this.

Hey Neighbor, thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, I already ordered it :banghead:. Oh well, lesson learned. I do however, like the look of it.

Agree the shorty looks good and shall make you happy IF you are not too interested in performance.
@R3Tex likely has more dope than I as he had one for awhile that he 86'd and went CES.

Went through your town twice on way to Lincoln City and back just last week -
I didn't see you???
