New to Triumph

Hello Guys,

I'm Portuguese and I just bought a 2010 Triumph Rocket Roadster.
Don't know yet if I made a good choice but I certainly hope so. My short list was:

Moto Guzzi Eldorado
Harley V Rod
Triumph Rocket

This three names were circling my head for weeks. In the end of the day I chose the Triumph Rocket for the looks and power. I'm still a bit intimidated by the weight of the bike.

I'm going to ride it for 1000 miles and will let you know my thoughts.

Welcome Jose! Interestingly enough, I was in a similar situation in January. I was looking at the Rocket, Moto Guzzi California and Indian Chief Vintage but entertained the VROD for a second. The dealer had reduced the price on the 2013 Rocket Touring by $2,000 down to $10,000 USD so I decided instantly. The weight was intimidating at first but the guys here gave me great tips. You should see my intro post and the replies. It is a very close knit group.
