Rocket 3 roadster 2014
Hello everyone! As it says I am new to the rocket 3, but owned 2 Daytona's before this one. I figured this would be the best transition from sport to cruiser and still have a blast! I did have a couple of questions I was hope some current riders may know. 1: hard saddlebags that fit the roadster, and 2: cat deletes in front of the TORS. Trying to get all set up before BBB in Fayetteville next month!

Welcome Troy. Corbin Beetle bags are the best looking (and most expensive) IMHO. The Roadster Cats are in the cans so to delete you need a whole new exhaust. Lots of threads on here about exhaust systems...look around and enjoy the info.

G'day and welcome. There are a couple of options for hard saddle bags. I use Hepco Becker 45 liter bags, but I'm sure others will chime in as well.

The Corbin Beetles are outrageously priced, but also real lookers. I have pannier envy even though my Rocket Touring came with a factory mounted set of panniers.

Welcome mate.
TORS are the cat delete on the Roadster. You can just replace the standard mufflers with TORS mufflers retaining the standard headers, you will require the TORS tune from your dealer. Or as Tex mentioned - replace the whole system and release some cheap horsepower (about 40hp) read the "rocket science" thread.

Welcome Troy from a quintessential Aussie , TORS ,K&N air filter in stock filter box and a remap is a good start, you may like me and others be happy with these relatively easy and economical modifications,

Hello Troy and welcome from VA. I did the Tors swap on my R3T and am very happy with the slight sound increase and the new tune adds noticable power.

G'day and Welcome Troy .. Daytona are a nice bike Corbin are only as expensive as most OEM bags from the major manufacturers if you look into it. As stated quite a few options for exhausts these days.
