Had been reading up on the roadsters for a while and knew that I wanted a newer model due to the increased HP, but couldn't find anyone selling at a low enough price. Then just so happened to find a guy out in the middle of nowhere selling a 2011 for 10.8K. Only had 2K miles on it, upgraded to slightly louder factory exhaust, front and back engine bars, highway pegs, fly screen, teardrop mirrors and K&N filter.

Took it for a test drive last week and WOW was I impressed. I had dreams that night about the bike and called the bank the next morning to start the process. Picked it up yesterday after signing papers and took to work today... noticed people looking at me all day and even had some kids giving the rev motion to have me rev it for them.

Beautiful bike... everything about it is beautiful. And the kid likes it too...

Living the Roadster Dream

Nice to hear Sams,

I myself can't fathom riding anything else again after buying my Roadster in February 2012.

Cheers

What a fantastic purchase, well done.
That Bike in OZ would be nearly $20,000

G'day Wooof , don't remember you doing an intro ... anyway welcome mate. Not the Wooof from Darwin are you ?... anyway hope to see you in Hervey Bay at RDU if you can make it.

Wooof from Bendigo, Victoria

Hey Guys, sorry for no intro.

Bought the bike new from dealer in Feb for $22500 AUD ride away with Sissy bar and Rack and also Fly screen, engine bars and Hwy pegs.

There is only one other guy in Bendigo with a Roadsters and funny enough works in the same building as me. G'day Howie if you read this.

Also I saw a Satan's Soldiers MC 1% Member riding one last week, with big ape hangers on it. It looked awesome.

I'm still learning my way around this and the .com site so i appologise if I post or comment out of turn.

Cheers

No such thing mate. Or if there is you'd only be doing what most of us have done at some stage. Or it doesn't matter. Or noone (that matterrs) cares.

Pretty sure I welcomed you a while back, but g'day again anyway.

Welcome and get used to the attention. I field questions everywhere I go, much more than my Bonnie (which is quite the looker also).

After almost 2 weeks with the bike, I gotta say, it gets a LOT of attention. I start heading to the bike in the parking lot and have had several people ask me, "is that your bike?" And then they start asking questions about it.

In my opinion, there are two main reasons for having a cruiser over some other style of bike:

1 - You enjoy riding a little more stretched out than the other styles of bikes.
2 - You like to get attention when riding.

This bike definitely gets those two points for me, as well as gets an additional point that most cruisers don't provide: amazing power.
