Been on harleys for 40 years, recently retired and couldnt afford to keep them runing so I bought a honda st1300. The thing wanted to go fast all the time and didnt fit me. So I bought a r3t this is what iv been missing all along.

WELCOME from Arizona
hope you enjoy the rocket.

Welcome Mate from one of the Aussies. Glad you've seen the light.

Some people are just slow learners, nvrider!

Welcome to the fold from New Jersey.

Hello Nvrider and welcome from VA. I retired from the Navy at Fallon; I would have loved the roads around there on an R3T if only i'd had mine then...

Welcome to the R3T. I had an ST1100 many years ago. I've spent a bit of time on ST1300s too.

I don't think the STs want to go any faster than the R3T. The R3T is a heck of a lot more comfortable than either of them.

One thing I remember about both the STs was that they suffered from wobble when following tractor trailer trucks. Even with the tall windshield I don't have this problem with the R3T.

Happy Trails.
