New Riii touring rider

Just picked up a 2014 rocket iii touring. Can not wait to put some miles on it.
I have been riding a sprint st for years. Decided I needed some comfort for my wife and I for longer hauls.

Welcome from NJ, you will love this bike more and more, each time you go for a ride. Be careful she's big and heavy at parking lot speeds but that heavy feeling disappears above 5mph. Good luck with your new motor!

I thought the same thing when I bought my R3T, she still hasn't gone anywhere with me. I am OK with that, not as many stops.

You may be right. We did 100 miles today and she sad her but was numb. No pleasing them

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome.

I am getting more comfortable with the low speed maneuvers. It is a huge change from my 955.
I may have to start working out to build up my leg.muscles. hard to back it up even the slightest incline. That said I think my sprint will be in the garage for awhile. This bike is great.
