- 2005 Rocket 3
Hello R3 riders,
I purchased a 2005 Rocket 3 a couple of days ago in Washington, and once the importation documents and procedures are complete will be riding it home hopefully in a week.
I am the third owner, and the first owner really loved his bike. He passed on the Rider and Cycle World 2004 editions he kept that featured articles on his very model. He faithfully kept all his service records and had the dealership stamp at all service intervals. This is one of the main reasons I bought this bike. He also had a certificate stating his was the number 1 of 200 of the R3 imported into the US that year, so he was obviously eager to own one as he must have been the first one in line for that year.
This will be my second Triumph - the first being the Centennial T100 Bonneville, but plan on keeping both for the time being. Cant wait for pick up day, keeping my fingers crossed for some good weather.
