The "Crest" only gets MORE iffy from here on. It's been closed from the east end near Wrightwood from rock/mud slides a month ago. Another month and there'll be snow below the 4000ft level. Maybe either soon or next spring we Southlanders can meet en-mass at Newcomb's. An organized showing of "Absolute Power" would be a hoot one of these Sundays.

Welcome from Long Beach! I just picked up my '14 R3R earlier this year. Hit me up if you want to go for a spirited ride sometime.

Yes, the transmission clunk is normal. I think Rivco makes the riser you're looking for, and @Buck Mossie has them installed. You should check out his bike for a solid setup.

While the Crest is a good ride and a bit iffy as the season progresses..... plenty of other good riding to be had. Thanks for the link.

Thanks, I put the Rivco risers on and went with a Barnett 3inch over clutch cable because it was having problems on a hard right turn. I have been searching threads on lowering next. btw.... I do enjoy a "spirited" ride too!!! lol
