- 2020 Rocket 3R
Hey all, glad to be here. Recently picked up a Rocket 3 R and figured I'd introduce myself properly.
A bit of history: I've been riding for a long time and this Rocket is a proper step up from most of what came before it. Previous bikes include a Yamaha XSR900, Triumph Thruxton 1200R, Yamaha R1 (owned in the UK), Kawasaki ZXR750, Yamaha XJR650, Kawasaki Z250, and going way back, a Montesa trials bike and then a Suzuki RL250 when I was a kid doing offroad trials. Before all that, a BSA Bantam 150 got the whole thing started.
I'm a dual US-UK rider, currently based in Waxahachie,Texas, so plenty of open road to enjoy the Rocket on. Looking forward to learning from everyone here and swapping notes on this beast of a bike.
