Welcome from Germany (by way of Mississippi)! Sounds like a nice stable of bikes! I'd definitely be interested in that comparison between the rocket and Diavel! It's the only bike that's ever pique'd my interest since the rocket.

Welcome - Good place to sell the TORs if you are ready to get rid of them... hint hint...lol
Thanks!

Definitely will make my TORS available to this forum when I replace them soon.

The Diavel is a monster. Fast fast fast. Lots of power, lightweight, v-twin sounds awesome, and great handling - plus good looks.

I think the R3 would take it off the line - but then Diavel would run away. I love them both

The Diavel can actually do a 2.9 0-60, which beats the 3.3 of the R3. Which is why you need to put a 240 hp Carpenter kit on it, clearly. ;) Welcome to the board.

I agree - The Diavel only makes a maximum of 96 lb/ft of Torque at max, so I think the R3's 150+ lb/ft would dig it off the line in a hurry. But the Diavel's 162 hp in a 516# wet chassis would run away from it shortly thereafter.

I'd be the only reason it can do a 2.9 is the tires. Not making an excuse, just wish there were more sporting sticky tire options for 16 inch rimes. There are some crazy sticky 240/40/18s and 240/45/18s, and it actually has me considering a BST upgrade in the future so I can use actual sport tires instead of being stuck with 3 options on the 16 rim.

They are two different bikes - both great, classy, powerful, great looking and an absolute blast to ride. I definitely think they are two very different incredible two wheel animals - but I do LOVE my new R3.

I'm blessed as to what I have (in my humble opinion) are three very different awesome pieces of machinery.

Look forward to great conversations with this group and learning from all your experience, skills, and motorcycling knowledge. I been riding for 30 plus years and it's a passion for me - very blessed.
