Interesting. I haven't had any problems running without the MAP sensor.

The thing about PCIII telling the ECU that a 2 bar is connected is interesting. I wonder if that is supported in the Rocket's ECU. Your tuner might be thinking about PCIII for a different ECU type. It's mainly interesting because PCIII doesn't communicate with the ECU but just changes signals coming from it to the fuel injection system.

I know there is not an option in Tuneboy to tell the ECU about the MAP sensor.

Keep us posted.

Check with Richard (Blowme) from TTS. I think he said he used a 2 Bar sensor to tune mine, but couldn't get it to run properly with it connected coz there's no way to tell the ECU it's a 2 Bar. He has also removed the sencondries and the stepper motor and associated gubbins (that's how technically knowledgeable I am). This has the result that the tick over has to be set high to allow it to tick over when cold. When cold it ticks over at 700 to 800 RPM but when warm this is about 1100 RPM. Not ideal, but a small price to pay for a bike that pulls cleanly from tick over to red line. The check engine light is on. I keep checking the engine, and it's still there.
