Yeah, they already had a new 7-incher, the 8700 Evo 2 (which is the third gen 8700) so it was about time they came out with 5.75's, this seems to be the second gen of that.

Mobilecentre is the European importer, so they apparently have some advanced notice.

The manufacturer's site is at http://www.jwspeaker.com but nothing about a new 5.75 inch there.

But http://www.jwspeaker.com/other/the-next-evolution-of-led-headlights describes the difference in the latest 7-inch generation - I have one of those in the garage about to go on the bike. Huge difference in how large the area it lights is and they upped the lumens by almost 50%, so guessing that the news 5.75 is going to do the same, bigger wider and brighter. And probably cheaper, the 8700 Evo 2 was dramatically more affordable.
