I've picked that helmet up in the shop and it feels like a feather next to my Gmax. Good looking effect with the light playing of the fiber, great helmet!

Still have the problem of getting the right fitting though, but its a tempting offer BDSD.

NativeOne - do you know how they compare in sizes to the Arai?

I fancy one of them simpson outlaw helmets.Does anyone know if there legal in the uk.I know that the simpsons didnt use to be.I like the open face helmets as well but i look a right prick in one.Everytime ive tried one on, my mates have said yes that looks great and fell about laughing.

No, not the Outlaw.

But Simpson has a version of the Bandit that meets euro standards. I think they have 2 versions, the ECE Bandit and the ECE Super Bandit.

Thanks, Marcus. That was a good article. I still have a few questions, however, about what are the practicle requirements throughout Europe. For instance, if I show up in Germany with my Bell Drifter half helmet, is it legal? Is any half helmet legal to use in Germany, France, GB, etc? Are full face helmets required?
