Could someone please help me understanding what the difference is between the standard exhaustes on the tourer and the after market Triumph ones are. Just wondering what the increase in BHP is?
Any help would be appreciated

thanks
Pete

Pete - iirc there is an additional plus of having CAT-free pipes. I recall reading that the exhausts get ruddy hot where the cat's are.

On the older R3's it was less obvious as the separate cat box was under the engine and away from legs etc.

Mate....forget the TORs and go the Jardines......extra 20 + HP and they sound great, but loud!! Well, mine used to before I became deaf.

Guys,

thanks for your help, thought it gave more HP than that, for the cost i might not bother

if you don't mind a quiet bike then ok,
but if you want to hear it a little, then TORS are fine.
My wife likes hers, but hates my 3 into 1.
Now if it's power you're after as cheaply as possible,
get a Gi-Pro with ATRE.
best bang for the buck and a gear indicator to boot.

A 20 hp increase with the Jardines is nothing to sneeze at! They are very noticeably more powerful than the stock pipes and sound fabulous. I recommend them highly with the PCIII module.
