2012 rocket 3 roadster
I have to change the tires on my 2012 Rocket Roadster. While I have them off, I'm going to powdercoat the wheels. Can someone please give me a list of the tools needed to accomplish this task? I wish to make only ONE trip to the auto store. Thank you very much!

Are you asking for a tool list to change the tires or powder coat the wheels? (I personally don't know how to do either one)
Clarification may get you an answer ;-)

Thank you for pointing out my weak post. To clarify, I was looking for a complete bit/tool list to remove the front and rear wheels.

As of right now I have the rear removed and the front brake caliper removed. I am having trouble with the front wheel axel. I noticed that the hex connection is on the passenger side as opposed to the driver's side in the rear. I attempted to turn it counter clockwise..............my "tool" snapped. I'm stuck again!!!!!! Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Passenger side in those left lane driving countries or right ;) the hex goes opposite (as most nuts). Think turning the other side counterclockwise (bolt side) should help. Removing the wheels isn't so bad. I think it was a 19 hex on the front? Can't really remember. Don't think there's really any special tools required, just maybe larger than you normally have?
If you're taking the gummies off for powder coating, I'm not sure. I let the tire shop do that.

I hope you removed the two little bolts on the front of the left fork before you tried to loosen the axle. If you didn't, then I can see why you may have a problem.

If you don't have the correct size Allen key to remove the axle then try putting a spark-plug socket in the wrong way (if you have one that fits ;) ), or find a bolt who's head fits, and then lock a couple of nuts together on it so that you can get a socket, or wench, or spanner on it.

Would definitely not attempt to remove the rear tyre..Would remove the wheels and get the tyres taken off and on again at a dealers/workshop.
