Well.... this ain't a pic of a Roadster; but of my Classic with Thunderbike T-Bars. You may want to consider them; they do exactly the dimensions/posture that you're possibly looking for:

Made these up to correct the wrist position. Narrower and maybe an inch further back. About the same height.
 
Looks like your mirrors are adjusted perfectly!! :mrgreen: Hey, not to sidetrack with a newB question, but what is the indicator above/between your gauges?

The dials are visible - the needles are not. And here's why. The colourant used in the needles does not react to the illumination. Point a blue or UV light at them and they glow. But BTT
