Once its up on the stand i just put a trolley jack under the front of the motor with a piece of wood on it, and jack the front wheel up off the ground if need be.
 
For Europeans another stand option would be http://www.becker-technik.de/Rocket...r_englisch/body_rocket_3_lifter_englisch.html (if not going all out with a hydraulic lifter).

As for the DIN sockets they're technically better than the cigarette lighter variant, but I prefer the latter, it's more ubiquitous. I went with a Kuryakyn chrome bullet-shaped outlet right on the handlebars, and that works perfectly for USB power too (by putting a cigarette lighter to USB adapter in there.)

Did you get that gear from that site I told you about mate ? If so how long was it from order till u got it?

Yeah mitch got it from them , took a few days longer than normal because of their 4 July holiday weekend , but i'd assume normally you'd have it withing 10 days.
