Got it all done in a couple of hours , only thing that didnt fit were the long horn pegs , clamps are wrong size , not sure if i'll get bigger clams or just go with the Triumph pegs n clamps.

Fitted the power outlet socket , took a bit of time to hunt down the wires though and then realised the socket isnt the size of a car cigaret lighter socket ??? Not sure where im going to find something that size to fit the USB charger for my Ph ???

Oh yeah one small mishap with the tools , knocked a small nick into the left side headlight bucket with the Dremel tool fixed that with touch up paint, Wouldnt be called Wrecka if i didnt at the least mark ding, scratch or totally fock somthing up...........

G'day Wrecka is that plug a bit smaller than the normal cigarette lighter outlet but the same shape if it is it's a Merit outlet the easiest way would be to change the outlet to the standard socket only two wires or
Jaycar electrical have adapters to connect the two plug and socket (Jaycar .com.au) just enter "Merit" and you can see the range of adapters , Cheers

Mate bought it off a Triumph dealer not sure why i was given that size ??? Will try jaycar to get a new socket to fit if thats what you meant ?

Yes wrecka they should have an adapter that has a male fitting that goes into the merit socket with a female outlet to suit the "standard" cigarette lighter plug.

It's a DIN spec socket. You can get plugs and adaptors from Powerlet.com. They are expensive compared to cigarette sockets, but be able to find cheaper off brand copies

Din ,Merit, BMWor more correctly the European socket, same cat different coloured whiskers, in Aussie they are MERIT Sockets and in AUSSIE you get them at JAYCAR!

Got exactly what you suggested from Jaycar Ken , thank you. Silly thing is now im thinking i might tap into the wires and run a outlet socket somewhere up behind the screen for easy connection to the Iphone once i decide on a waterproof mounting system.
