if you are really cheap then you could use the big o ring between the bar end weight and throttle. i used this on my way back from washington and it did relieve wrist strain, the draw back is you have to roll off the throttle it won't spring back. good part is it is about $2.
i have had vista cruises on severlal bikes, the ones with 7/8 bars. the 1" vista is too fugly!

Right now I'm using the rubber washer between the bar end and the grip. It does the job but I just want a cleaner solution.

I personally love the rubber O ring....

I know you know this, but for less than $15 you can take the pressure off and enjoy numbless righthand throttling.

I've been using one on my R3 for over a year and my VStar before that. Easy on and off as well as adjustment.

Okay . . . I know that's not exactly what you want, but it works and it safer than the O-Ring in my opinion.

I've used the Vista Throttle Lock and the Throttlemeister both. They both serve the purpose of a throttle lock by allowing you to remove your hand from the throttle and giving it a rest. I would recommend the Throttlemeister over the Vista as the best looking way to go. It will take a little getting used to but you'll quickly adapt! My throttlemeister is one of the things I had removed from my Rocket when she was scrapped! I look forward to using it again!

I'm actually leaning toward the Vista. But I have a question for your mighty brains;

The vista is made up of the part that actually goes over the grip and another that goes around the handlebar on the other side of the controls. Those two parts are joined by what looks like a rigid bar. Clearly to hold it in place, otherwise the part around the throttle will simply spin with it.

But... I also noticed on the Rock that the controls are all in one piece and I wonder if that bar for the Vista is long enough to span all that. What can you guys tell me?
