Well ladies and gents.... retirement has been a real blast. I recently retired in April and got the opportunity to do some travelling on the Rocket. My first trip was from Timmins to Ottawa, to Oshawa, then Barrie, then to New Hamburg, West Baymouth, North Bay then back home. This was done over 5 days. Great time. Close to 2400 kilometers.

3 days later I was on my way to Edmonton Alberta to see my Grandson and the Mountains in BC.

Close to 7000 Kilometers. My trip through BC was hampered by all the wildfires so had to cut it short.

Some pictures of the trip. Me getting ready to leave.

Driving into Wawa Ontario.

Wawa's Goose

Brandon, Manitoba

Little town called Morse near Swift Current Saskatchewan.

Heading to Drumheller Alberta. Dinosaur fields and museum.

More pictures to come. Limited to 10 pictures per post. This was the prairies travelling north from Medicine Hat to Dumheller. Dodging the rain.

Descending into Drumheller and the Hoodoos.

Drumheller Tyrrell Dinosaur Museum. If you ever travel here, make sure you drive along the river which runs east and west. I came in from the south so missed a lot of the topography.

My Son's house in Edmonton.

Me with my Grandson. Don't get to see him often with such a large distance between us.

Off to the Triumph Dealer to replace my rear tire.

Guzzi Candy

The Rockies.

Climbing up to the Athabasca Glacier

Radium Hot Springs. Very relaxing place to visit.

Picadilly Inn. Very quiet.

Heading South to Cranbrook and Fernie.

Big jump to Fort Francis in Ontario.

North Shore of Lake Superior east of Thunder Bay.

Overall for the trip out west, I was gone for 15 days. I spent 5 days at my son's and the rest of the time on the road. Needless to say, I was glad to get home.
