Motorcycle Towing Insurance

Sunshine, call your company and have them add the endorsement for roadside assistance at the max coverage. Then when you return cancel it when you return.

Sunshine-
I think AMA is the best deal. $39 for membership and $35 for towing. If you sign up for automatic renewal you get the towing free. I have used the roadside service and they showed up with a tilting flatbed with a wheel chock and tie-downs.

Sunshine,

I'm playing with the idea of going. If I don't go, you are welcome to pause as long as you need here with MB and me.

FYI Rumor has it, the OK boys (as I've heard from a reliable source) tend to ride a tad fast (for me). So... if I go you'd be a welcome partner.

Fastfreight, thank you I will check it out.

Stripes, I had already heard that you might be going. And I already suspected the OK boys would be riding a bit fast. I have also heard there may be a couple more OK riders joining the fun. I am a bit torn on riding with them. My biggest problem is I like speed myself and afraid I would be right along with them. And my biggest fear is I will be riding in unfamiliar territory where I do not know the cops or speed traps and my bike being as much of an attention getter I will be the one with all of the speeding awards.....

I appreciate the offer for a place to camp out for the night and will keep it in mind. Will let you know if I need it.

I am also throwing around a bit more southern route. I am looking at all my options right now.

Native One, Wow! I thought from things you had posted on the other site that you were down around Big Bend, Camp Wood, or somewhere in that area. I didn't know you were that close to me. I think you are 120 miles from me. Not far at all! Do you ever ride over near Mason, Fredericksburg, Luckenbach, Sisterdale, etc? If you know you will be some time you should give me a shout! Hopefully I wouldn't be on-call and My Honey Bear and I could meet up with you. We go to San Angelo sometimes but mostly when doing big shopping trips such as Sam's and then eat at Red Lobster. Don't normally ride the bikes for that though. My jeep is usually filled up pretty good with all we bought. We do that trip I think every 3 or 4 months.

We still own property in the Hill Country in Real County and I ride there a good bit. I ride over to Fredericksburg once in a while when I have time. If I am going riding all day, or for the weekend, I ride down to Leakey and ride through the Hill Country. I ride over about every 3 months and have lunch at Coopers Barbecue in Llano but I mainly hang around here for short trips. I prefer the Hill Country because of the twisties and I lived there for over 25 years until we moved up here.
