As to my location Gordon, I live on the South Coast NSW, meant to say something when wished me a safe trip back to Qld in that thankyou text the other day.
I am glad you had an enjoyable day that was some race ehh

What a great weekend even if the wind had a slight chill factor about it on the Friday, the practice racing made up for that. How good are these young riders, got nuts that me thats for sure. Good to meet up with you Gordon and put a face to the name. Pity you could not have stayed a bit longer but we will do a ride soonish I would think. Will be catching up with Ponters for a coffee in Melb soon as I have items for him, will keep you in the loop so watch your PM's. :)
The night life on the Saturday night was very busy in Cowes, everywhere was just a hum of conversation and bikes all up the street. Good to catch up with Ponters too, I felt a bit spoilt riding in the back of a rather plush BMW, very smooth car mate. Hope you two got home ok too, sorry officer but I'm Irish that got me going.
Hans I cant thank you enough for having me as a guest and also thanks to your other friends who do the marshals job, fantastic, long hours you guys put in thats for sure, and the officials are right, such an event would / could not happen without that support and commitment. Going to have a wee nip about now mate of that special drop, you know the one, cheers. ;)
I have a few items for the forthcoming auction so start saving guy's, one in particular will be sought after in good time. No Mitch sorry buddy but it does not contain a head as such. Very very hard to get anywhere near or even remotely near any of the top riders for signatures as they are soon whisked away into privacy before one can blink.
I hope you had a good run home again Hans, mine became a bit spirited once I got through the city. The Trident spluttered a few times as I got to the track exit and then just cleared itself, water in the fuel I think but all good now.
Trevor, many thanks for the jacket but unfortunately I did not get it until I got back, so I picked it up on Monday night. It fits me like it was made for me mate, just perfect and it is exactly what I wanted, well spotted and thanks again. One happy fella here. :)
Been very busy since I got back hence the absence. Cheers for now, Malcy.
Wife just said,,,,, what in heavens name are you doing writing a novel. Hmm.

The pleasure was all mine Malcy, glad you enjoyed yourself and enjoyed my crazy and not so crazy marshalling mates I know they enjoyed your company.
Ponters mate Andy was real crackup, thanks again Ponters for picking us up in the Barvarian Limo that is one comfy car, that was a short but fun night out :D
