Afternoon everyone. Just wondering if anyone else had seen anything like this. 3 times now about a mile after gassing up my 13 R3T has started stumbling and missing like it was running out of gas. It will act up for about a mile or so and then it straightens out.

The first two times I know that I filled it fuller than the recommended amount because I was at a station that had non-ethanol fuel. The last time I didn't try to over fill it but the station is only 100 yards from work and then it sat in the sun all afternoon so the gas heated up and expanded. No check engine light and no codes in the ECM.

Thanks in advance,
BillB

Never heard anything like it. Maybe the fuel expanding it putting too much pressure on the pump inside the tank? I don't know.

That is what it sounds like to me. Try filling up after work. Does the full tank have a vent?

I believe mikedey is correct, the tank is too full either by overfilling or a hot day...It happened to me several times while overfilling and the hot Florida sun...I filled up my tank and started to ride and the bike ran rough for a while. When I reached my destination(12 miles), I checked the tank level and it was still at the top of the neck!

The only problem I have after a fill up is it gets empty.....
I have the same problem. I fill her up, and it seems like just hours later I'm doing it again. Sometimes I get a couple days out of a tank... but that's rare. Anyone else have the same issue?

Just put a proper tune into my R3T and now it revs to 6k and pulls hard all the way (the stock map for the R3T is a travesty that tops out at 80-something horses and revving past 4k is pointless). So now I'm in third all the time revving and the bike drinks like a camel... and I'm sifting bugs out of the air with my ****-eating grin full on.

No input on the weird-behavior-after-refueling, though.

I know what ya mean about the stock tune. I grabbed the tune that Wayne Tripp kindly posted here, got a cable and Tune ECU and stuffed it in there. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Less miles per gallon but more smiles per gallon. I'm good with that.
