Minor clutch adjustment

Ok now were getting some where are those OEM on the touring I ask as I have the Classics and standard which have adjustable levers? Next can you take a picture of the other end of the cable down where it fits into the mount on the clutch cover. I am especially interested in the two nuts on the sheath and the threads on the sheath.

Yes that is the lever the bike came with. I'm at work right now, on the road, but will snap a pic of the other end when i get back to the shop.

Union break for the win.

Your opinion only. I don't ride purely for comfort, I have big strong hangs and heavy clutch springs with no troubles at all pulling the clutch. I took my fat Roadster levers off after the bike had a soft tip over and clutch leaver broke as those fat levers have no break point grove they will break at the top - the weekest point.
 
Going back to an earlier post, the locknut against the lever, it should be as that is how it locks. Loosen it off, make your adjustment then retighten. Hope I'm note stating the bloomin obvious.
 
Ok, here are a couple of pics of the other end of the cable. I can always remove that mesh cover for a better pic.
I am interested tho in maybe replacing the clutch lever with an adjustable one. I'll have to scour amazon and ebay.

ok so it look pretty close to both my bikes. I find it hard to believe Triumph did not put adjustable levers on the beast. I will be even more surprised when I start paying more attention to see if it has always been that way or if it was a change.
 
THOSE shorty levers are your choice and the average rider is not going to find them user friendly they make it harder to pull the clutch in and they have narrow blades that arent as comfy as the adjustable wide blade TRIUMPH levers
