Micro start battery...

wow but $160
till now I have made and kept a heavy duty set of boosting cables in the former air filter location cost $22.00 have yet to use them ...I think I will pass on this

Seen a demo at Motto GP Expo last year, was impressed they were selling for $149 they are very versatile lots of uses while travelling thinking of buying one once the "New Gadget" price drops a bit to a more realistic level

As a general purpose backup supply - the XP1 is a better bet as it has more Output voltage options. Expensive - Yes and no. A decent LiFePO4 5aH starter (4S2P) battery will set you back about 80Euros just for the cells.

Personally I'd rather get a small 2.5aH LiFePO4 battery wired permanently in parallel and get some 5V Solar assisted charging battery packs for cellphones - cameras etc.

I E-mailed the info to my brother and he ordered the xp-1...He brought it over this morning; disconnected his car battery terminal and hooked up the xp-1; the engine(V6) cranked up 4 times with ease and with much more cranking power left...I was impressed! IMO, it is worth the money to have spare power in such a small package
