Truth is what i really hate about scooters is when they pull up next to you at a set of traffic lights. All smiles, nodding and grinning like we're some sort of " kindred spirit" for f#cks sake .. glad i wear an openface helmet , that misbelief is quickly dispelled !!

On the other hand, TC, it can be really satisfying when they just look embarrassed. Open face is good then too because they can see you grinning at them.

What TC was getting at is here and I agree!!!! is we have all these Numbskull's who buy a scooter then ride around with nothing more
a pair of shorts or a skirt (in the case of the females),no jacket of any kind and the footwear can range from bare feet to "Japanes Riding boots" (Thongs... and not the kind that you wear to cover your groin)they then fly around with out a care in the world crashing, which becomes a statistic the Aussie anti bike politicans use to impose ridiculus new legislation on us

We have idiots who ride around here with nothing but a smile, the best one that I have seen is a guy on a HD wearing speedos and nothing else I just about fired up one of my blow torches to burn my eyes out.
No state in America has any law telling you to wear protective gear (exc helmets) all you need is your privates covered and away you go.
