Wow, I'm with the folks who recommend a radiator shop -- though these are going the way of the Dodo bird, along with chroming and dry cleaners -- because of the toxicity of the materials.
There is so much heat and pressure, along with the normal vibration, I would want metal on metal secured with solder. Remember, with antifreeze, the boiling point is considerably higher -- all the more stress on the components.
And having done it, I can say removing the radiator is pretty straight forward on the Rocket, with the main concern putting something soft on the fender so as not to mar it.
