Loud exhaust

Hey guys, as the name suggests I have just had a full new custom exhaust fitted which some from the uk will recognise as dave platt exhausts. Its loud and sounds awesome however I've been told that it wont pass an mot with noise as it is. Is there a limit as to how loud it should be?. Rockets are noisy anyway but it sounds way better and I'll not only be seen but will be heard too.

Install the stock pipes for the inspection.

Rules for exhaust noise according to my MOT guy is that it is at the discretion of the tester. My Exhaust is pretty much straight through and it passes every year. Don't use a dealer use a small independent bike shop

My bike is quiet until you twist the throttle and past 3000 rpm. Then it will hurt your ears if you are behind it.
