Losing power when accelerating from 4th to 5th?

Hello Rocket Captains, today while out riding on my new Roadster and passing accelerating and changing up to 5th gear, the Rocket powered off momentarily. It did this twice during the day ride.

It is a new machine, only done 1400kms, so I will take it in on Monday and let the dealer know...but before I do...any ideas as to what might be causing this?

I was only doing approximately 110-120kph at the time, nowhere near anything that resembled a red line?

Love the bike, absolute pleasure to ride....so be good to iron out any gremlins before I ride down to the Cold Duck Rally next weekend and meet up with all my Harley mates!! I want jealous looks not condescending told you so looks!!

the only time mine ever acted like that I had a coil wire loose.
Might lift the tank and check em out before you take it in.

Did the gauges re sweep ? The more symptoms you can tell us the better.

Just made improvements to mine by crimping up the coil input leads( all slack)

It did not appear to affect the gauges. Just a momentary loss of engine power, like when you max out on the red line.. which I have never done on a Rocket!!

Took the Roadster in this morning a diagnostic was run. Found something in one of the systems, reset the paremeters. All good on the ride home....
