Id go 09. There is a guy out in central wyoming selling a 05 for 2500 great shape. Middle mileage but I can't remember the number. I'm board if I knew where the post was I'd probably be unloading the plow balast out of my truck amd headed that way if nothing else but to have another parts bike.
Anyway go 09 its updated the only iffy things are headlight relay mod and it does have the newer detent spring
