Hello fellow Rocketeers, hope you all had a merry Christmas or multi racial mixed ethnic variations of a similar theme. On that note, no play on words I'm looking for an alternative ex-zorst. The chap who had the ride before me put some noisey butt rumbling cans that looked nice, until he dropped it and dinged the Chrome. In Glasgow you would call that a "baw bag" or something your nuts are kept warm in and I'm no squirrel.

So, all festive humor/humour and sarcastic Scottish witticism aside, any suggestions on exhausts, what has worked for you, cost, where do you source them from etc.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

Depends what you want, a full system or cans. A lot of the UK folks have Dave Platt cans; you can see mine in my profile pic. About £550 the pair I recall, well made and sound great. He trades as tsa49 on ebay.

Staintune in Australia have a Roadster version rocket – Staintune
But also made a low restriction collector box and muffler system for 3 muffler earlier versions. There is a used system on eBay now.
TRIUMPH ROCKET 3 STAINTUNE MUFFLERS 2006 | eBay
AU $695.00 + AU $153.00 freight to UK $850 = £500, a bargain to get rid of the horrible restrictive cat collector and being quality SS they basically last forever. I have a set on my old 1978 R100RS BMW sidecar that I know have been on it 30 years.

I have the CES headers on my Roadster with dual shorty cans and a hi-flow collector. The cans are very similar to the Outlaw brand ones.

Still reckon the Staintune with collector is a good option with or without good headers, especially if you want semi stock look on a 3 can setup and not excessively noisy plus @HansO would have his own great tune if he got CES to match. UK winter and salt chops up chromed steel too I've heard.

I have just put a Roadster Staintune and Collector on Ebay. Selling in UK. Will remove it from Ebay and sell privately if required. Someone here in Devon fitted a set to an early Rocket.
