Look what I just brought home!

It ****ed sure ain't gonna go round corners very well! That's 2 2X4's it's resting on, 3" clearance
I see a big assed CT slick in it's future!

First step, frame painted. Gave it two coats of Oshpo, as it had some surface rust from sitting, after being sand blasted a few years ago. Let that dry for two says, then scuffed that a little and put on two coats of Eastwood's 2 part black gloss (2 cans). Ordered an Eastwood Tig200 machine, to do all the gas tank, rear fender brackets that will need to be fabricated. I know I'll have to grind some of the new paint off, here and there, but I want to get this thing rolling!

You waste no time!:)

It's gonna take awhile. Still haven't decided on a gas tank, maybe a sportster tank, and will have to use an external fuel pump, and OMG that wiring harness looks like something from the space shuttle! Have to fab the seat brackets, (found that brand new LaPera in the boxes)! make a rear fender of sorts. Missing one front wheel spacer. Will ask later for someone to take a measurement so I can make one. Might set the engine in tomorrow, or should I say set the bike on the engine? Ha!

OK, she's rolling! Not a lot of ground clearance, but should go down the track pretty well. Lookin pretty mean if I say so myself! Gettin that frame over that engine ain't no easy task! Had to order one of the right side adjuster ring and locking collar for the engine mounting bolt. Coming from England, bummer. But there's lots to do while I'm waiting.
