LiveWire dead flat

LiveWire prices will start at $29,799. You have to be kidding me!!!!! That's "start at" prices!! ….. Per charge, the LiveWire can travel 95 miles in combined city and highway riding. 95 miles, come on H/D why didn't you wait until you had something to offer......

95 miles will get them to their drinking hole and back - which for the riders of that bike will probably be a $tarbux.

on the other side, India is pushing people to get electric bikes rather than petrol, and that would make sense for a lot of people if the price is comparable to regular bike prices. The electric bike may ending up starting at the bottom and working its way up rather than the HD plan of starting at the top and filtering down.

Here is an example of what you can get in India for about $1,400US. Revolt RV400 Price in India, Revolt Electric Bike Images, Reviews with swappable batteries and 4 hour charge times.

Others start at around $500US.

Why can't HD do that?

Technology & Features:

One feature that really stands out in the RV400 (even if it’s really insignificant in the grand scheme of things) has to be the artificial engine sounds. There’s a stereo speaker hidden behind the right side of the fairing which replicates the sound based on the amount of throttle given. Unfortunately, it doesn’t simulate gear changes. So what you get is a suspiciously artificial engine note which may intrigue a casual commuter. Without the visceral mechanical drama of an internal combustion engine, the fake engine note simply feels like a gimmick. The type of engine note can be changed via Revolt’s official app and the volume can be controlled too. But even at the highest volume, it isn’t as convincing as the real deal. There’s even a hilariously creative two-stroke sound on offer. Revolt says more engine sounds will be offered in the future.

Design of Revolt RV 400 is good but in a top speed of 85km, it's providing only 80 to 85km mileage, taking charging time up to 4hrs
