I rode my 2015 R3T to work last week. When I arrived home on Friday I noticed my fog lights and head light were out(bike was still running). Just the small bulb at the bottom of the head light was on. After I turned the bike off with the key it would not crank. I only have a click when I push the start button. The fuel pump comes on and the lights around the speedometer come on but no headlight and only a click when start button is pushed. I have checked the fuses, had the battery checked and charged and tried jumping with a car battery. No change. I've searched and not found an answer. What else can I check before I take to the dealer?

If there is a headlight relay I would check that.
That may sound strange but the roadster will not start without the headlights on, and the relay turns the headlights off when the starter is engaged.

I’m thinking fuse block feed connector. I need to look at the wiring schematic when I get home. Will check in later on.

If you have TuneECU you can go to the diagnostic / test pages and see what is going on including voltage, error codes, switch positions, etc.

After checking the electricial diagram, check all fuses with ignition on. If they all check out it’s either the starting relay or a ground issue. It could be a few other things, but that’s where I’d start.

That’s my best guess and good luck.

Could it be the ignition switch?

Thanks for the help. I've decided to take it to the dealer since it's under warranty. I'll let y'all know what they say. It'll be a week before they can get to it.

Follow Up.

The dealer called and said that the battery was not holding a charge. When the battery got low it caused a fuse in the wiring to the starter relay to blow which caused the headlights to go out and the no start issue. The fuse was not in the fuse box. Battery problems are not covered by the two year warranty(the bike is 1 1/2 years old). They are giving me a break by only charging for 1/2 hour labor and a discount on a new battery. They also loaded the latest factory tune for free. I did not know that a fuse could blow because of a low battery charge. I am hoping to pick the bike up Saturday afternoon.
