Daryl you are talking about your Bird right? The R3 aint no more.
I'm sure you still flog the new T-Bird, but those days of rubber just mysteriously disappearing leaving a stop light are behind you aren't they? LoL
If neither of them have any cupping or unusual wear sounds to me like it's wearing nicely for mostly long straight highway rides. I'm envious that you've been able to log so many miles already. I'm also jealous that Triumph chose sizes for the Bird that allow for Michelin, you know how limited us poor R3 riders are in choice.
I'd like your opinion on Michelin bike tires, thats all I ever put on our cars except for the MINI of course. They make a huge difference in ride comfort and stability on the family sedans but I've never had them on a bike, were never in my size. Do they do the same for your bike as on a car? Are they smooth and stable, more so than another brand?
