LEAVING ON A TRIP

It has no reverse, a Boss Hoss has reverse, this is a chopper, reverse not needed. It only has one gear because a LOW gear is not needed or provided, it can burn rubber with only the high gear. These bikes are really fun to ride, the fun factor is what makes them worth the money. They are not practical, our Rockets are fun and practical, the V8 Chopper is the most fun bike I have ever ridden, its also the least practical.

How practical is the Boss Hoss? I've had two back surgeries so I'm needing some shocks. When are you going to be in Reno?

Norm,

We are leaving here about 4am Tuesday morning, another words about 16 hours from now. I have found Boss Hoss to be a practical bike for cruising especially with a passenger, very reliable, comfortable, wind resistant, etc. There are many different models and some important changes thru the years so you need to have some knowledge before you purchase a used one. A new one will run close to seventy thousand and if that doesn't matter you can have an unbelievable bike but used ones are way more reasonable, usually low miles, and some are great bikes. If you get serious you can call me and I'll try to explain the pros and cons before you make a purchase.

I think I'm a rocket man for life but man the Boss Hoss is cool. The rocket and Boss Hoss bikes are two bikes I feel like I actually fit and feel good on. 70K is a little rich for my blood but who knows what the future will bring.

THAT is a cool looking hot rod bike and have a great trip and be careful there are lots of crazy cagers out there

Thanks Art, am really looking forward to riding the Rocket for some days. Many twisty roads and thru mountains and forests and also along rivers. It will be fun. When we took the bike to Prescott Arizona and the up thru Utah where there was still snow along side the road a couple of months ago the Rocket was a PERFECT bike to ride for us. I'm hoping this trip will be the same only longer. I now have a GOPRO mounted to the windshield to take some video's with. I am not one that can easily work electronic gadgets but I have practiced a little on some short rides and hope I can do good on this rid
