I need a new race suit for Maxton, and the ECTA demands an all leather suit... no high tech thermo-plastic or Lycra inserts. Anyone have a recommendation in this department?

Alright, which one of you guys was that in the dancing suit? You know what makes it a dancing suit? Plenty of ball room.

Hey Hombre, what's the date of your outing at Maxton again?

Hey, Hombre this looks like a good one.:)

ECTA 2008 Racing Schedule at Maxton:

April 5-6
May 17-18
June 28-29
September 27-28
October 25-26

If you want to run, you do have to join ECTA in advance ($50/yr) and make speed class licensing runs. You'll need Snell approved helmet, full racing leathers, medical insurance... and steering dampener if you plan to exceed 125 MPH. :D

Walt:

I have a full leather suit but it has no armor inserts. What size are you? If you are my size, you can certainly borrow it. It cost me a thousand bucks but I hardly ever wear it.

Thanks for your generous offer, Flip. I have an old leather race suit, but it doesn't have the required back protection... suit tech has changed a lot in 20 years. I don't mind springing for a new aerodynamic suit (love those back humps)... just want to be sure I choose the right one.
