I meant the laminar one, it looks wide.
Oh I see what you mean, the laminar one fits to the roadster screen but I'm not sure whether it increases the width or just fits to the top, it's not very clear in the pic.

It made so little difference, if any, that I didn't notice it. I think that the RIII screen is too vertical for it to have any use. The best result I achieved was by cutting a hole in the windshield (windscreen) to vent it.

Yes I think you are right, it is very vertical. I might try to adapt the brackets to angle the screen back a bit and see if it makes any difference.

The lip is supposed to sit up top but partially over the windshield so you get a "wind tunnel" effect between the lip and the screen. It should extend the screen up maybe a half inch or some such. For me, it made a difference, but not enough of a difference.

Plus, it's frankly kind of unsightly once you see it on there.

Much better idea to save your cash and hit up Clearview Shields and pick up an extended screen with a top end recurve.

best cure for Buffeting is to fit Lowers, they may not be pretty but they work well @Rocket Scientist has a template for the perfect shape and @BDKcoyote can put you on to the brackets that work really well, drop them a "Conversation" for more info

On the Touring we get lowers out of the box, but they didn't do much to prevent buffeting with the stock shield anyway. Or if they do, then I have to imagine the buffeting without them would be like going a round with a heavyweight boxer. A 19 inch shield helped a lot, but I'm beginning to think I should have gone even taller. Maybe next winter.

Another option is these stainless steel versions available for UK#50. (Try to ignore the 'over the top' other accessories etc.)* Postage to Oz is a bit steep at UK#36.50 though.

2 screen lower deflector/Triumph rocket 3

He sells worldwide so just put the eBay item number in your local eBay browser search. This just ended but he will relist it in the next couple of days. I have been tossing up whether it may be worthwhile to match a Roadster screen I have not fitted yet but with winter on its way here in Canberra it may be an idea.

I'll check out HansO's recommendation now too.
