Kawasaki H2 SX SE for bike #2?

Mate of mine took delivery of the H2 SX, the 'basic' one with panniers, last Saturday after test riding one (traded in his Diavel)

He absolutely loves it, keeps saying how powerful and smooth it is and reckons comfort on longer trips will be fine.

The caveat in all this is he is 5'9"ish and weighs 160lbs, so far I've only sat on it as the weather has been awful, and I have to say that at 6' I wouldn't want to be undertaking a long trip on it.

Good I'm only a inch taller but the same weight.

That’s interesting. I’m neither. Fat, old and tall. I just like bikes that don’t follow the “how a bike should be made” book.

I came very close to just buying it online and shipping it, until I realized I wouldn’t even buy shoes that way......

I found it quite comfortable at 6'3" ish, but I still find my Daytona comfortable, so, perhaps not the best opinion.

As long as your comfy with feet back a little, it should be fine. Not a lot of wrist/arm pressure, if required the way the bars are placed it would be very easy to add risers. It uses a system very similar to the ZX-14R, where it's not a true clip on.

Think I've been spoilt by having only Rocket's for the last 10 years, either I've forgotten what it's like to ride a semi sports bike or I'm a lot less supple than I was when I rode my Fireblade the length of Spain in a day, stopping only for fuel (which is highly likely according to my wife!)
