My bike is currently in for it's 10k service and it's now got just under 12k on the clock due to lead time to get a booking slot at the local dealer.
I've been quoted £600 (pounds sterling) or there abouts.
This includes fuel & air filter replacement in addition to what the bike currently needs due to it's age etc...
It's an early 2020MY bike.
I regard my dealership prices to be pretty high.
So....for example, they quoted me £100 just to swap the rear tyre (inc. balancing), which I got my regular bike shop to do for £25 last Tuesday. Still not exactly cheap, but I think it's a fair price to pay.
My bike is still having it's service as i'm typing this, and i've just received a 'bike health check' message from them and they are recommending new brake pads (Quoted at £91 inc fitting) and they are recommending a new front tyre, but because they don't have any Avons to match my new rear tyre, they want to sell me a full set of Metzelers at a price of £590.
Of course, I will be declining their offer on the pads & tyres, but I am currently of the opinion that it's better to at least get the annual service done at the main dealership until I can seek out an independent garage that specialises in Rockets, so I know that the correct procedures are adhered to.
Stuff like brake pads I can do myself, but i'm not ready to tear the bike down to do filters etc...Not just yet.
