I thought the video speed was accelerated as well.
Don't know the capabilities of a GoPro; but, I know video editing software can do this.

me think it was not the actual speed..too much lane splitting for too long at that high speed we see , although some idiot on two wheels might think they can outdo this one
 
I'm about as certain as I can be that it's the actual speed. Watching the other vehicles, especially the ones going the other way, plus the sound of the bike, it seems all in real time. GoPro does give the impression of going faster than you really are.
 
with all that paint and road snakes between lanes he is putting a lot of faith on his braking abilities and that of his tires...

statistic for sure...
