Just found the bike i was looking for

And we think getting parts for the Rocket is hard enough with it still in production . . .

and that is why I would not buy a modern BMW they are alway dropping bearings or seals .. no longer the reliable bike they used to be

Rode many a miles on a bultaco and a Husqvarna's out and about 29 palms. took some mushrooms one night and thought we had rode out to the river much to my surprize we had not moved at all. Still had her parked at the campsite at Joshua tree. Long time ago

HEY I owned several of the older ones and they were not reliable compared to the JAPANESE bikes and my friends with the new ones are always having problems so I stay away from them altogether .

I guess everyone's experience is different. I owned several, R80, R100RT, K1200RS, R1200R, and R1200GS, and never had any problems. Evidently I was lucky.

Do you want to know how, or with what? As to how, well, take it apart, lube it, put it back together. As to what, most everybody I knew used a Honda grease, don't remember the exact name, but it seemed to do the job just fine.
