just completed 4,000 mile plus ride

I have a brakeaway and a throttle boss. The brakeaway does work very well but only holds the throttle position, the throttle boss is what I use the most, resting the palm of your hand on it allows you to wiggle the fingers and thumb thereby relieving the cramping. I took the brake away off.

Thanks again Clavinger. I took it to "Triumph of Seattle" in Greenlake. They are new and didn't really hear it like I had. He was at low speed and near the shop. The sound does get louder when at 30 mph and above and coasting with clutch disengaged or neutral. . Its not a straight cut gear whine (by my experience). I always listen to my rigs for problems and I know nothing of this Triumph, ergo my questions. I need to get a manual I understand, to even know where these parts are. I know to look at everything in front of the driveshaft. I have seen pic of output bearings put in incorrectly and its what I was thinking. Now I am located 45 miles north of Chicago, perhaps there is a rocket specialist about. That's the hard part, just to find a guy. Usually, I have to learn, learn, learn, and do, do do, myself to get things done. Id like professional help on this one for speeds sake. So I gather the rocket shouldn't sound like a bucket of bolts coasting up to a stoplight? I thought it had to be "Abby Normal" and I am glad on one hand that it should be better.On the other hand, darn my luck, only 6,000 miles on this, and now only dur for its first oil change. Kinda embarrassing sounding worse than even the noisiest of other bikes (brand name withheld). My friend met up with me in Buffalo Wyoming for the ride to Seattle, his new "fatBoy sounded awful too just idling, the primary chain I presume.

If you have any serious problem it should show up in your sump screens, drop oil remove and check for large lumps of metal or chips off gears etc.

Continuing on this subject;
I was riding the other day and was trying to further diagnose my "bucket of bolts" noise. On my trip I noticed on long right hand turns I could hear it louder than on long left turns. Now around town and after some highway, I couldn't hear it at all until while at a stoplight waiting for the green it suddenly started while not in motion! When I got home I idled stationary and it wasn't pronounced on the left side but the right side there it was, it sounds like the cooling fan is making my awful noise! Yesterday I tried jumpering the fan relay to turn on the fan and all I accomplished was burning out some fuses to the fuel pump. I must have got the wrong relay (I jumpered third from the left on my roadster). I haven't checked but perhaps previous owner switched locations of relays? I don't know if there is enough slack in the wires to allow this switch. I don't have a wiring diagram so instead of trying more this way I have ordered a obd2 cable and will download tuneEcu and cycle the fan that way without motor running be certain the fan is the culprit. It was hot on my trip, not so much when I got home so the fan hasn't been going on as much lately. I guess there is a lot of objects between the fan and the left side blocking the noise and not so much on the right so that was why I could hear it when leaned way over on a right hand turn at 80 mph and not the left 80 mph turns. I will attempt to record this fan noise and post it here if this is indeed my mystery noise.
