thank you for the input! I will let everyone know when I try this. I have a goodly amount of tread on the tires I have, too poor to ditch them. Yours is the first positive feedback I on the Corbin seat, thank you. I Will have to buy tires anyway so will try that first.

Most complete answer yet. I greatly appreciate your input. I love my "new" Rocket but have had some anxious moments trying to maneuver from a top in parking lots and stopping on steep inclines. I think the 1/2" will hep a lot. Plan is to wear out current tires and try shorter ones. This will also fix the 10% speedo error. Thank you again. Any owners groups in the PNW?

It is 10% low My partner rides 100 miles I ride indicated 90 He set cruise at 50 mph I go indicated 45mph so yes.

Take your seat to a place where they do boat cushions and have 1" of cushion taken of. There's enough there that you can play with it. A lot cheaper than aftermarket. If you don't like it then you go aftermarket. That's what I did and it worked for me. Good luck!
