I was asked by a fellow member a while back to post a review on this jacket once I had a chance to test it out. Here goes! I love this jacket!
-very high quality. I am used to an icon motorsports jacket which is high quality itself.
-super soft leather from brand new.
-does NOT take away from mobility at all!
-very nice heavy zipper (I happened to get a european style zipper which is on the left as opposed to the usual right sided zipper.)
-buttons are nice and snap firmly into place.
-this thing blocks the wind! And with the vest installed it's very warm for a bike jacket. My icon jacket doesn't offer as much warmth as this one!
-with the vest installed you have 4 inside pockets and 4 outside pockets to total 8 pockets.
-remove vest and you lose two inside pockets.
-there is a zipper at the lower back that I'm not sure what it's for, possibly added padding or insulation?
This jacket is very wearable. Whether you're riding or not, it's a good all around jacket. I was surprised at the quality and workmanship of it.
These jackets run small! I measure about a 44-45" chest and they happened to be out of 46" jackets so I got a 48 and it fits perfect. So keep this in mind if you order one.
Price is a bit steep at around $500USD, but it's well worth it for the kind of use you can get out of it. I'll try and attach pictures and if there are any questions, by all means, ask. I also hope I posted this in the right section!
