Jacking up the R3T

Thanks for the common sense logic on the posting. I would like to buy you a drink if we cross roads someday EasTexRIII. Southwest Michigan is a hell of a ride from your door! I've met quite a few good eggs in this forum. More knowledge than any college class or board room table I've been to. Thanks and a tip-of-the-hat!
 


$200 engine crane...This little one is good for 1.2 tonnes...I can lift the whole bike nearly 3feet and work under it without any interference. Of course I do have to play a trust game with my snatch straps....
 
No apologies needed @Chip . Lifting the beast has been discussed and debated since I joined this forum . The drawing I posted was evolved from another members post and idea . We are all here to help one another and by pooling and gathering knowledge is how most problems are overcome ! Your ideas and questions are most welcome , keep em coming .

I have a big Blue bike lift - got it for my Rocket 3 but have just purchased the kit that fits the holes at rear of engine on the R3T these are a superb tool , the bike is very stable even at full height. Removal of wheels etc is made simple.
