Gotta admit Clint , that's pretty cool . You can use a different one each time and never get bored ! :)

In all honesty I have to slip in and use one when the body techs aren't using them :whitstling:
Those aren't just normal lifts. They actually have frame measurement & pulling attachments that are used for frame straightening. Gotta get on n get off asap

I bought a table to lift mine. The JackBQuick works well for lifting the bike off the floor a few inches but for me, to lift the bike to waist level, the lift has be done on a table strapped down. I am sure that my lift is not very good. A good one cost as much as a table. If you have the space, 500$ to prevent a crash in the garage is cheap.

Agreed!
I also have a hydraulic lift table for more serious repairs, but have seldom needed it.

I also have had problems lifting my 08 R3T. After looking at the bottom of the cycle I noticed that behind the bottom of the engine the casting has holes approx. 7/16" in diameter. I took a flat stock, 5/16"x 1 1/2". I took 1 1/2" angle drilled to match the holes on the engine. I cut 2 pieces and welded them to my cut to fit flat bar. Painted this new bracket black and bolted this to the holes using 7/16" x 1" long bolts. This now is the location for my hydraulic jack that I purchased from Harbor Freight. Lifts centered and doesn't seem to tip!q

Bottom line is that to lift a Rocket safely you need the proper lift adapter to give you a flat lifting surface where the force is concentrated on the two lifting lugs/holes in the rear part of the frame under the engine. You can lift without a proper adapter but it's considerably less safe. Many threads on it on the forum, do some searching. In fact, always do searches before asking anything anywhere - it's a good basic practice. Chances are someone else needed the info before, and that you're not in fact a special snowflake with all unique problems. :p

The absolute stupidity of that statement is that reading old posts is not a bad idea, but asking a "fresh question" about a previously covered subject always brings about new ideas sometimes an even improved way of doing something or even some newly discovered products that have not been mentioned before.
"SNOWFLAKE"????? for asking a perfectly reasonable question??????
Boy, is that not the pot callin the kettle black?......................................... Whata RICHARD CRANIUM!

Meh, hair trigger much? May want to up your valium dosage. It was meant to be (mostly) tongue in cheek. That's why there is a smiley there. :p

Sorry to any and all individuals who have invested money and time in fabricating or purchasing lifting devices for the R3T. My reply wasn't ment to one up anyone. I have followed the different posts on the subject. The fixture that has been shown before and the drawing shown with photos is superior to what I have discussed. I can assure everyone reading this that I am NOT a "special snowflake". lol. I'm just a retired auto executive who worked in maintenance for 30+ years. My simple lifting device was ment to be a new simple device that almost anyone can build and works better AND safer than 2x4 on a jack.... Simple
